Admitting i have a problem is the first step

I was shopping for some new clothes today. I went to my usual place (and by usual, i mean i go once every couple of weeks... if that... i'm more of a geek than a fashion guru) and i asked the girl if i could try some things on. I said sorry for bothering her. She then directed me to the room and i said sorry again but the reason why i said it escapes me now. I enter the room and close the door.

Then, a few seconds later, i hear "he's the sorry guy, eh?"

Robin says, "yeah" to which the girl replies, "i knew it!"

Everytime i go there, at least the past few times, i get teased for saying sorry and being too polite. It seems even the newer girls know me as the sorry guy. My first sorry usually registers nothing. It's the second sorry that makes people realize who i am.

Feels nice. You know, to be known for something.

I guess i do say it a lot. Everyone at work teases me about it. When i lived in Moncton, workers at Robin's usual shopping areas brought it up as well. I've been like this my whole life. I know i'm overly polite. I know it gets annoying. But it doesn't bother me anymore.
